A Novel Yarn will be at The Big Crafty in Asheville, on 7/11. See you [...] Yay! It’s finally time for our first without-borders event! This weekend we (and all of the yarn) will be at the Lavender Festival! May 22, Saturday, 10-5 The (free!) Festival includes: Seminars on using herbs Herbal Luncheon Live Music lots [...] We just got in the sweetest baby sweater (and kits to make them!) in the world. Check it out in this video: Having a rough week? Need a little therapy? Come by today, anytime between noon & 2pm for Stitch Therapy! If there are too many people to meet in the shop, we’ll be 2 doors down, at the gorgeous Historic Eureka Inn (there’s parking behind the Eureka that you are welcome to use!) Bring any project you like and get [...] Tonight! Bring your knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, braiding, sewing, stitching to the Eureka Inn in Historic Jonesborough for a time of fellowship, coffee and, of course, stitching!
We just got in a new box of yarn! I’m going to try to video our new yarns whenever possible (sometimes I have to rip into them before I can set up the camera, like the new Kitchen Sink Dyeworks package [...] When a customer finds the perfect color, but it’s a sock yarn and she needs a worsted weight for her first sweater?
I email Mercedes (from Kitchen Sink Dyeworks) and she whips up the most perfect sweater yarn EVER. In 2 weeks!
Even better (for you!): she sent enough yarn to make another [...] It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day!
