At Stitch Therapy! Come get your stitch on (no matter what kind of stitch it is – knitting, crochet, sewing, anything) at Scratch Brick Oven in Johnson City at the corner of Roan + Unaka (here’s a map). This weekend we (and all of the yarn) will be at the Lavender Festival! May 22, Saturday, 10-5 The (free!) Festival includes: Seminars on using herbs Herbal Luncheon Live Music lots [...] The Adventurous Lace class will be held May 13 + 27 in the beautiful Gardens at the Eureka Inn (just down the street from our former shop in downtown Jonesborough). I had hoped to start the class sooner, but the needles haven’t come in yet and several of you have mentioned that you can’t find [...] We just got in the sweetest baby sweater (and kits to make them!) in the world. Last Saturday we picked up the whole shop and most of the yarn and moved (for the day!) to Sycamore Shoals Fiber Festival, organized by the Over Mountain Weaver’s Guild. I had a really great time getting to know fiber-lovers from all over the area and sharing our yarn and classes with them. Towards the end of [...] Today we’re at the Sycamore Shoals Fiber Festival from 10am-5pm. Completely free and filled with demonstrations and ideas for EVERY kind of fiber-crafting!
