This week we got it gorgeous new yarn from Vivid Creation Fibers! Sock yarn (1 of which sold the same day it arrived!) and.. Worsted weight yarn. Enough (5 skeins!) of 4 different colors, that you could make a sweater! Come by the shop this week to squeeze the yarn for yourself! Yay! New stuff! We have gorgeous handapainted roving by Cloudlover.

This is what we’ve come up with so far: Fit-For-You Sweater (A top-down sweater, knit all in one piece (no seaming!) that is sized for you and YOUR yarn & gauge) This Friday night (1/15), from 5-7p, come to the shop for a bit of Stitch Therapy. Bring any project your working on (knitting, crochet, spinning, anything!) and enjoy the company of your fellow crafters as we all work together. I (Tara) will be spinning a new line of yarns and Kim will be working on the fingerless [...] Next Tuesday, we’ll hold our first Learn to Knit class. What can you expect? Super friendly, no-pressure, hands-on teaching from me, Tara. I’ve taught everyone from 8 year old boys to their grandmothers how to knit. My philosophy: There’s no “doing it wrong” or “ruining it” in knitting.
